Your test strip is designed to easily "sip" the blood into a sample tip. Only a small 0.6µl sample size is needed.

Unaffected by common interfering substances
CONTOUR®PLUS test strips deliver results that are unaffected by many common interfering substances occuring naturally in the blood (i.e. cholesterol or hemoglobin) and occuring from therapeutic treatments such as paracetamol or ibuprofen and others.2,3
